FSNetwork Modular Design Fiber-optic Network
The Fiber-optic Network, (FSN), allows users to connect more than 100 sensors to build an integrated security system. Outputs from all sensors can be sent to a central computer and/or an annunciation panel. In response to an alarm, the FSN can be used to turn on security lighting, CCTV cameras, sirens or auto dialers.

Additionally, when a computer control system is used, the system can be used to activate electronic door locks or other devices from a central location.

The FSN supports two-way communications with a single fiber-optic cable that is used to connect all devices. This takes the place of a great number of electrical wiring runs in a traditional security system. The result is less complexity and reduced time and expense for installation and maintenance.

Modular design makes the Fiber-optic Security Network easy to modify when end-users' requirements change. Components "plug and play" and can be added or removed at any time. The FSN is compatible with any sensor that provides contact closures. Output from the network can be relay contact closures and/or direct to a computer via an RS-232 link. The FSN also allows for remote setup and testing of perimeter sensors made by Fiber SenSys.

FSN Modules
Following is a list of available FSN modules. Each system requires one host module. Input/output modules and relay output cards are added to meet the needs of a particular application.
